BUTTERFLY VALVES
The butterfly valve is a rotary motion valve that is used as a throttling valve to control flow through a system.
Butterfly valves offer several advantages including quarter-turn, openness for less plugging, and good control capabilities.
Function
Can be used for on/off service or throttling. When a valve throttles or modulates the flow it is controlling the speed and capacity of media through the valve.

Wafer Body Style is installed between two flanges using bolts or nuts and studs.
It does not have protruding legs. The shape is light-weight and has a lower initial and installation cost.
However, some wafer body styles will not form a proper seal so care should be taken to avoid placing it
between slip-on or screwed flange types. Wafer style valves are easier to replace and install.

Lug Body Style (Centric)

Lug Body Style has protruding legs that provide bolt holes matching those in the pipe flange.
This style has metal inserts installed in the valve’s bolt holes. The valve is installed between
two flanges using a separate set of bolts for each flange. The advantage of the lug body style is
it allows for dead-end service or removal of downstream piping.

Concentric Flanged Type has the center of rotation moved back from the centerline of
the valve disc. The design relies on a frictional interference seal between the seal and seat which
are designed conically and on center.
Suitable for dual flow operation, hydrodynamic flow, reduced turbulence, to minimize pressure drop across the valve

Butterfly Valve Double Eccentric Type
Designed to ensure a secure shut-off and accurate flow regulation. The phrase “double eccentric” pertains to the two displacements of the valve’s disc and shaft. The initial displacement involves the deviation of the stem shaft from the center of the sealing surface, while the second displacement refers to the lateral positioning of the valve stem’s axis relative to the valve body.
Sizes: DN 100 to DN 3000
Valve Actuator: Hand Lever Standard (Gearbox with Hand wheel By Request)
Working Pressure: 10Bar /16 Bar
Body Material: Ductile Iron
Coating: Fusion Bonded Epoxy
Series: Series 13 / Series 14
Standards
Design: BS EN 593
Face to Face: EN558-1
Flange: BS EN 1092-2
Hydrostatic Test Pressure: PN x 1.1, for shell: PN x 1.5 according to EN 12266-1.

The double eccentric design facilitates the rapid disengagement of the disc from the seat when opened, thereby decreasing excessive compression and friction between the two components. This configuration effectively reduces operating torque and wear, thereby prolonging the valve’s lifespan. The valve functions by rotating the shaft, which in turn moves the disc to either open or close, thereby regulating the flow of the fluid medium.
Ideal for applications that require precise shut-off, exceptional durability, and minimal maintenance. It can be utilized in both low and high-temperature environments, contingent upon the material used for the sealing seat.
Applications
Water Supply and Distribution: Often used in water supply systems, particularly in underground installations.
Wastewater Treatment: Effective in controlling the flow of wastewater in treatment plants.
Chemical Processing and Power Generation: Used in systems that require precise flow control and shut-off.
Oil and Gas: Suitable for controlling the flow of various fluids and gases.
HVAC Systems: Used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for flow regulation

Butterfly Valve Triple Eccentric Type
A triple eccentric butterfly valve, also known as a triple offset butterfly valve, is an advanced type of butterfly valve designed for high-performance applications. Here’s a breakdown of its function.
Sizes: DN 50 to DN 2400
Valve Actuator: Hand Lever Standard (Gearbox with Hand wheel By Request)
Working Pressure: 16 Bar
Body Material: Ductile Iron
Coating: Fusion Bonded Epoxy
Series: Series 13
Standards
Design: BS EN 593
Face to Face: EN558-1
Flange: BS EN 1092-1
Hydrostatic Test Pressure: PN x 1.1, for shell: PN x 1.5 according to EN 12266-1.
Certificate: 3.1 on request.
Key Function
First Offset: The shaft is positioned behind the centerline of the sealing surface to provide a continuous seat and seal.
Second Offset: The shaft is located slightly off the centerline of the bore, which reduces friction during operation.
Third Offset: The cone axis is inclined from the pipe centerline, ensuring that the seal only contacts the seat at the final point of closure, minimizing wear and providing a bi-directional bubble-tight seal2.
This design allows the disc to quickly detach from the seat upon opening, reducing unnecessary compression and friction between the disc and the seat. The metal-to-metal sealing mechanism provides excellent durability and resistance to high temperatures and pressures
Ideal for applications where zero leakage, high durability, and low maintenance are crucial. They are suitable for both low and high-temperature applications, depending on the material of the sealing seat.
Applications
Water Supply and Distribution: Often used in water supply systems, particularly in underground installations.
Chemical Processing and Power Generation: Used in systems that require precise flow control and shut-off.
Oil and Gas: Suitable for controlling the flow of various fluids and gases.
HVAC Systems: Used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for flow regulation
